- Backrooms — A24 releases trailer for Backrooms, a horror film based on the famous creepypasta. Directed by Kane Parsons (aka Kane Pixels) in his directorial debut, the film features Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve and Mark Duplass. The film imagines a vast, endless maze of monotonous rooms where people can become trapped. This follows the success of Markiplier's Iron Lung, showing studios' appetite for YouTuber-led horror projects.
